Sky View's 2023 marching band production is entitled "Leviathan". Leviathan is the story of The norse god Odin creating the world, the god Loki spreading chaos, The Leviathan Jörmungandr terrorizing the world, and a hero who will rise from the devastation to challenge the Leviathan.

Leviathan will feature 4 movements: 

1. Awakening - Odin will awaken the world (the band), and Loki will create the Leviathan

2. Desolation - The Leviathan destroys the world and devours the gods

3. Odin's Farewell - Odin is given a proper viking funeral, and a hero takes his spear to challenge the Leviathan

4. Retribution - The hero faces the Leviathan and fights for the sake of the world

Leviathan will feature famous music pieces such as Night on Bald Mountain, The Pines of Rome, and Wagner's ring cycle. All the music for Leviathan has been arranged by Bryan Carpenter and the SV band staff. We look forward to showing you more of Leviathan as the season comes closer!
